Wheel of Fortune might be the most overrated show in this entire debate, and people don’t realize it because it feels untouchable.

Everyone grew up with it. It’s always on. It’s comfortable. But strip it down and what are we really doing here? Guessing letters and hoping you don’t hit “Bankrupt.” That’s the game.

It sits in this middle lane where it’s not as smart as Jeopardy! and not nearly as chaotic as Family Feud. It’s just… there. Reliable. Safe. Easy to watch. Easy to pick.

Which is exactly why it keeps winning matchups it probably shouldn’t. Nobody hates Wheel of Fortune. But does anyone actually go to war for it?
