Waffle Fries

Waffle fries look engineered for the job. Crispy lattice edges, plenty of potato in the middle, and all those little openings ready to catch salt and sauce. They’re substantial without going full steak fry, and one good waffle fry feels like half the basket. That makes the matchup with curly fries especially nasty: clean, consistent crunch against seasoned chaos. Crinkle-cut brings another ridged challenger, but waffle fans will argue the grid simply does more. Is the lattice the perfect fry design, or are waffle fries getting by on architecture?
