Toblerone

Toblerone

There's no mistaking a Toblerone.

The triangular pieces, long packaging, and honey-almond nougat make it one of the easiest chocolates to recognize before you've even taken a bite.

And breaking off those chunky triangles is practically part of the ritual.

Toblerone has always felt a little different from the standard chocolate bar. It's the kind of thing people bring home from a trip or grab when they want something beyond ordinary milk chocolate.

But its greatest strength might also be its weakness.

That distinctive flavor isn't for everybody.

Cadbury offers familiar creaminess. Hershey's has pure nostalgia. Lindt has smooth indulgence.

Can Toblerone win by being different, or will its unusual texture keep it from reaching the top?
