Scrambled Eggs

Scrambled eggs are the no-drama heavyweight. Soft and creamy or firm and fluffy, plain with butter or loaded with cheese and hot sauce—they can be whatever breakfast needs them to be. That versatility makes them dangerous here. Sunny-side up brings the yolk drama, an omelet brings the fillings, but scrambled eggs counter with pure comfort and the fact that almost anybody can make them their own. They work beside bacon, inside a breakfast sandwich, wrapped in a tortilla, or straight off the plate.
