There's something about unwrapping a Hershey's bar that instantly takes you back.
Maybe it's making s'mores around a campfire. Maybe it's finding Hershey's Kisses in a candy bowl. Or maybe it's just that familiar milk chocolate taste you've known since childhood.
Hershey's doesn't need to feel fancy. That's part of its appeal. It's the chocolate people grew up eating, sharing, and sneaking from the pantry.
But nostalgia can only carry you so far.
Cadbury fans will argue their chocolate tastes better. Lindt supporters will tell you Hershey's isn't even playing the same game.
Does Hershey's deserve the crown because it feels like home, or is it time to admit another brand makes better chocolate?
