Garfield: The Movie

Garfield: The Movie

Garfield sees a couch, a tray of lasagna, and a reason not to move. Finally, a cat movie brave enough to center laziness as a worldview. Garfield: The Movie is not winning this bracket on epic adventure or emotional devastation. Its case is much simpler: Garfield acts like the exaggerated version of the cat everyone thinks they own. He is selfish, sarcastic, food-obsessed, jealous, and somehow still lovable enough that people forgive all of it. Against Simba, the contrast is hilarious—destiny versus dinner. Against Puss, it’s maximal effort versus absolutely none. That makes Garfield dangerous in head-to-head voting because his appeal is instantly understood. You do not need lore. You need one look at his face and the knowledge that he would cancel plans for pasta. If Cat Energy matters most, this orange menace can wreck the bracket.
