Crispy M&M’s took regular M&M’s and fixed the biggest problem: sometimes chocolate candy needs crunch.
The original version had this lighter, airier texture that made entire bags disappear instantly. Then they vanished, and people spent years acting like snack detectives trying to explain why the comeback version didn’t taste the same. That kind of obsession matters in discontinued snacks ranked debates.
Compared to PB Crisps, Crispy M&M’s were less cultish but way more mainstream. Against Yogos, they probably win on pure recognizability alone. And unlike some nostalgia snacks that mostly survived because of packaging, Crispy M&M’s were actually addictive.
The danger here is that people forget how dominant they felt during their peak. Don’t let the simple branding fool you. This snack absolutely has upset potential against the giants.
