Why carry one weapon when you can carry practically all of them?
The Zorg ZF-1 from The Fifth Element is the kind of ridiculous futuristic hardware that makes absolutely no attempt to be subtle. Bullets, rockets, a flamethrower, and even a freeze function are packed into one wildly excessive package.
Then there's the replay feature, which sends shots back toward the original target. Because apparently having every other weapon function wasn't enough.
It's a perfect match for the movie's colorful, chaotic world.
Compared with RoboCop's streamlined Auto-9, the ZF-1 is pure overkill. Against the Noisy Cricket, it's a battle between maximum gadgetry and maximum surprise.
Does having more firepower make something the greatest movie weapon, or is this just a spectacular case of doing too much?
