Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field feels like summer.

Day baseball. Rooftops packed with fans. The ivy walls. A scoreboard that still looks like somebody updates it by hand between innings. Even people who hate the Cubs usually admit Wrigley has a weird magic to it.

That’s what makes Wrigley vs Fenway Park such a perfect sports argument. Fenway feels gritty and intense. Wrigley feels nostalgic and carefree. One feels haunted by pressure. The other feels like baseball nostalgia wrapped in sunshine and beer.

Cubs fans will tell you no stadium in America feels more alive on a warm afternoon. Critics will argue Wrigley survives mostly on vibes and history. Both sides kind of have a point.

Modern stadiums are bigger, cleaner, and probably easier to navigate. Nobody cares. Wrigley feels personal in a way newer venues rarely do anymore.

And honestly, if you’ve sat in the bleachers during a huge Cubs game, you probably already picked your side in this debate years ago.
