If The Legend of Zelda isn't crowned the GOAT of original NES games, I'm starting to think maybe my whole childhood was a lie. Seriously, this game turned us all into obsessive map-drawers and secret-hunters—like we had nothing better to do but memorize bush patterns for bomb drops. And let's not even talk about the hours lost explaining to your non-gamer friends why you're blowing into a cartridge at 2 AM. Zelda's the reason half of us even understand puzzles—or why we can't trust old men in caves!
