Stimpy (Ren & Stimpy Show)

Stimpy is where this bracket gets weird. Sweet-natured, dimwitted and completely unpredictable, he brings a flavor of cartoon comedy that nobody else in the field can really duplicate. He isn’t cool like Pink Panther, scheming like Sylvester or sarcastic like Garfield. Stimpy is just… Stimpy, and that’s the argument. Against Tigger, the matchup becomes pure energy and chaos. Against Garfield, you get two radically different kinds of comedy from two very different cartoon eras. He may not have the universal recognition of Tom or Simba, but the people who grew up with The Ren & Stimpy Show have a very specific attachment to that bizarre world. Is Stimpy strange enough to knock out one of the favorites?
