Santa's Little Helper (The Simpsons)

Santa’s Little Helper brings something refreshingly simple to this bracket: he’s a family dog in a very dysfunctional cartoon family. He gets into trouble, causes chaos, disappears into the background, then reminds you why the Simpsons wanted him around in the first place. Against Brian Griffin, you get two completely different adult-animation dogs. Against Pluto, it’s a much tighter battle of expressive, mostly dog-like companions. Is Springfield loyalty enough to carry him through?
