Santa Clarita Diet took that ridiculous premise and made it work because underneath the blood, body parts, and increasingly desperate cover-ups was a marriage worth rooting for. By the time the show ended, its mythology was getting bigger and its final twist practically begged for another season. Against GLOW, it’s Netflix comedy heartbreak. Against Pushing Daisies, it’s two shows turning death into something colorful, funny, and very weird. If you still need to know what happens next, feed Santa Clarita Diet another win.
