Predator (1987)

A team of commandos enters the jungle thinking they're the toughest guys on the planet. Then something starts hunting them. Predator is Arnold Schwarzenegger at his most physically intimidating, playing Dutch against an enemy that makes even his muscles look useless. There's the unforgettable handshake with Dillon, the jungle firefights, the mud-covered showdown, and a creature that still makes the woods feel dangerous. What starts as a macho action movie turns into a survival nightmare. For some fans, this is the perfect Arnold experience: big guns, bigger personalities, and absolutely no wasted energy. But can a lean, mean jungle thriller beat the emotional blockbuster power of Terminator 2? Or does Predator prove that Arnold is at his best when he's fighting something impossible?
