“Just Do It”

“Just Do It”

“Just Do It” feels bigger than advertising at this point. That’s either its greatest strength or the exact reason some people won’t vote for it. Unlike “Wassup?!” or “Crossfire!,” this slogan escaped the world of commercials and turned into actual life advice.

The reason it belongs in this league is simple: the 90s belonged to Nike. Michael Jordan. Bo Jackson. Andre Agassi. The entire decade practically ran on sneaker commercials and impossible confidence. “Just Do It” became the soundtrack for all of it.

But here’s the argument against it. Was it too polished? Too corporate? Some people connect harder with the weirdness of “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” or the unhinged energy of “Snap into a Slim Jim!” because those felt funnier and more human.

Still, if this league is really about impact, “Just Do It” is terrifying in a bracket. It’s the one contender here that could realistically beat every other catchphrase in a head-to-head matchup without sounding ridiculous.
