It's creepy, funny, dangerous-looking, and impossible to confuse with anyone else in the bracket. That makes Gengar versus Lucario a pure cool-factor fight, while Gengar versus Snorlax is basically chaos against maximum chill. Even a heavyweight like Charizard creates a tough choice: flames and spectacle or the ghost that's been grinning at fans for generations? Gengar's path to the crown probably won't come from being everybody's pick. It'll come from having a tribe that refuses to vote against it.
