Ebenezer Scrooge is like that grumpy uncle who shows up to Christmas dinner just to complain about the price of turkey. Seriously, the guy’s been haunted by ghosts and still can’t catch a break. Like, c'mon, Dickens gave him a full redemption arc, but his legacy is still just being the poster child for ‘Bah, Humbug!’ Fans love to argue; is he a misunderstood hero or the worst person to ever run a counting house? You gotta admit, his grinchy vibe and growth from 'Scrooge' to 'the nice guy' have left us all with plenty of relatable gripes about holiday stress.
