Creed had the impossible job of living up to Rocky, and somehow it delivered. Adonis trains through Philadelphia while earning his own identity instead of copying his father's legacy. The famous dirt bike sequence, the neighborhood energy, and the final run through cheering crowds create one of the most electric modern montages ever filmed. It feels fresh without forgetting what made Rocky legendary. For many fans, Creed proved the formula still works decades later.
