Batman & Robin (1997)
Batman & Robin is what happens when a superhero movie drinks six energy drinks and forgets to calm down. Neon everything. Freeze puns every eight seconds. A bat credit card. Absolute cinema nonsense.
Some people act like this movie is unwatchable. Those people are lying to themselves. This thing is wildly entertaining in a way most polished modern superhero movies could never dream of being. Compared to the accidental awkwardness of The Room or the glossy chaos of Showgirls, Batman & Robin feels like a toy store exploded directly onto film.
And honestly? The George Clooney version of Batman being this ridiculous somehow makes it better. That’s the argument. If you want gritty realism, this movie will annoy you instantly. If you want pure camp insanity, it might secretly be top-tier rewatch material.
This contender either deserves a first-round exit or a Final Four run. No middle ground.
